NEW Recreation Programs @ WRC!!!!! Strong Mamas If you’re a Mom looking for a supportive environment to work out in, this is the class for you. Together we will focus on weight training, since the benefits for women far outweigh those that just choose cardio. Gain strength, lose body fat all while showing your children just how strong mamas really are. Children can attend class.

Beginner Strength Training Lifting weights can seem daunting and almost scary when you first start, but it is so important to incorporate for the plethora of health benefits it offers. Join this class to learn proper form and easy moves that will have you feeling stronger and healthier in no time.

Daytime Bootcamp Bootcamp is different than a gym or fitness class. We don’t use any equipment other than your own body. This means most of the drills are mainly body weight exercises like pushups, squats, lunges, planks, crunches. We throw some sprinting and jogging in for good measure and allow ample time for rest and recovery but make no mistake; you are working hard for the entire hour. Yes, it is intense but the rewards are intense as well. Each hour will consist of a warm‐up, cardiovascular training, bodyweight‐strength training, flexibility and a cool down.

Yang Style Push Hands for Beginners Tai Chi Push Hands is a popular interactive practice within tai chi that is an art of playing with your own and your partner’s energy. Students can learn about themselves and others –with practical applications to daily life. Push Hands is a great tool for learning to let go and relax. You will gain better muscle tone, improve joint flexibility and increase circulation.
