At CAM Café is an excellent weeknight date option, whether you make it only once in a blue moon, or create a weekly or monthly tradition out of this beautiful local haunt.

Wild Under the Stars @ Animal Park at the Conservators Center
For those who love the great outdoors, there may be nothing better than the Animal Park at the Conservator’s Center’s inspired astronomical events. With some of the darkest skies in the greater Triangle and Triad area, the park offers unparalleled viewing conditions for astronomical phenomena. Join the park and other visitors for the Lyriad Meteor Shower on April 19th and experience incredible viewing opportunities of the moon, planets, and deep-sky objects like galaxies, nebulae, and binary star systems. Participants are invited to pitch a tent and set up a telescope in the early evening at 5:30 pm, and participate in the park’s 6:30 pm twilight tour. A romantic evening for intrepid couples!
