Whether you are just starting out or have been in the business for some time, one of the biggest challenges that web developers face is time. In the world today, everything moves at the speed of light and that includes getting the work done. Unfortunately, it is something that does take a little time in order to get the job done right. When you account for codes that need to be written and even testing each step of the way to make sure that it is correct, it can be frustrating when the boss tells you to get it done in a week.

Another issue in the top five is the requirements for a particular job. Taking on a project for someone that is not sure what the outcome should be can make for a huge challenge. The developer is left with trying to figure out just

what the customer is looking for which means that things may need to be changed time and time again. Not only is this time-consuming but it can be frustrating as well.

It is no wonder that a ​freelance web developer​ may want to take a shortcut or two and use free templates that are available or even a free domain. However, by using these methods it is possible to still run into the same issues and concerns when avoiding them as well.

You may still need to enter specific coding if the template does not work with certain browsing or it is possible that the domain you are trying to work with will just not cooperate. It is not to say that they cannot be worth the time for the little guy but when building a site for cooperation these methods can end up being more of a headache than they are worth.

It is important to keep in mind the outcome of what the site will look like when it is completed and finished. Free templates and domains tend to come along with ads that appear on the finished site. This of course can be damaging to the company by taking away a clean and professional look. The bottom line is learning to deal with the challenges and finding ways to improve upon them with quality and professionalism. It may be a little more challenging but still worth it in the end to go the old fashioned way.
