According to David Pisano, sales manager at the Encore Club at Reunion, the community had 40 home sales for more than $20 million over the past 30 days, shattering their previous high-month totals. Pisano credited the sales to an influx of visitors to Central Florida and a new floor-plan being offered at the Encore Club. The majority of the sales have come on configurations offering 8 bedrooms or more, which is in line with a developing trend of global vacationers seeking larger numbers of bedrooms so their extended families can all stay comfortably under the same roof for longer periods of time. According to Pisano, in addition to those buying from the U.S., many sales are coming from China, Brazil and the U.K., all typically strong markets for Orlando travelers. A large percentage of out-of-country homebuyers will place the homes into a hospitality rental program that will be managed under the Encore brand by Jeeves Holiday Homes and VacationRentalPros.com. These companies will assist vacationers will all aspects of their stay at the new community coming to life in the award-winning Reunion Resort. Spanning more than 300 acres, The Encore Club at Reunion is being developed by Encore Residences & Resorts and will soon break ground on a three-story, 15,000 square-foot Clubhouse that will include a restaurant with bar and lounge, and fitness center.
