Boca Raton Hair Trends for February

Take 10 Minutes to Get Started with South Florida Hair Trends for February It almost seems that as soon as one trend dies off here in South Florida there are five more taking its place. With hair this can be especially true. But this February we’ve got a few hair fashions that seem to be in the ebb and flow of the Boca Raton tides. Meaning they come in and go right along with the ocean breeze. No matter if you’re rocking some serious curls or you’ve changed your color, February is the month that seems to be the start of the new trends coming down the calendar.

What we’re seeing a lot of so far for February is the use of decorative bobby pins stacked along your locks one and staggered giving off that European vibe. This is one look that has resurfaced it seems a gazillion times! As long as “Mall Bangs” doesn’t come next we’re fine! The next trend for the women sporting medium to long locks and the cute doo to look forward to is the low bun. Hair that is tied back tightly at the nape of the neck like a school librarian is super-hot. Spice it up with a few sprigs of hair styled to resemble a spikey decoration. This is a very sleek look and perfect for the office and formal gatherings.

If you aren’t going anywhere and have the “Messy Hair, Don’t Care” attitude, then this next trend for Feb 2016 is that of actress/model GIGI Hadid. You can catch Gigi sporting a top-knot in places like Elle Magazine. This look is a pretty much use your longer hair strands as a piece of art material by forming one to two knots on the top of your head with lots of messy hair coming down and in a flurry. Simply gorgeous and a perfect style for any art gallery opening or special event to just hanging out at the beach.

If you’re a mature woman and want to step into the trend zone for February 2016, then this is going to really surprise you. The look that all the “A” listers are sporting is the bob. But wait! It gets better gray, blonde, opal, platinum and highlighted bobs are the way to go! Women like Kelly Rippa and Charlize Theron are sporting the messy bobs that have a natural but spunky look. The long bob or the “LOB” is a big hit as well.

Last but not least is the “Curly Bird”. This is primarily for women with thick textured hair that can be worn with next to no maintenance if they have curls. The wilder the better which is the way to go. So it’s really a matter of preference when it comes to the trend you select. Your stylist can help you find the look that’s appropriate for you. The biggest point to remember is these styles will continue to come and go with variations as they have for years, and Salon Sora will help YOU stay in the know!
