The team also upgraded to a wireless throw phone system which will be extremely beneficial to both our team and the SWAT team Not many trainings were available this year due to COVID We hope to start going to more training in 2021

The NWCNT responds to suicidal subjects, barricaded subjects, hostage situations, mental crisis situations and also responds simultaneously with SWAT team call outs. In 2020 the team responded to 12 incidents, two being in Watford City, ND. The NWCNT commander also consulted Deputies on an incident in Crosby, ND and in McKenzie County, ND. The NWCNT continues to be an asset to the Northwest Region.
