Our special thanks to Marsha White.
To the Class of 1969:
When you read this letter you will undoubtedly be a long way from the Northampton School for Girls and perhaps you will look back with some nostalgia at your last year at N.S.F.G. and the first year of that new headmaster. Now that new headmaster could not have made it had it not been for the seniors, experienced in the ways of girls schools, who took it upon themselves to help and advise the English teacher turned headmaster. Both Joyce and I are grateful to all of you.
The first year for a new headmaster is supposed to be the toughest; we had our moments as you all know, but looking back over this year, I regret not one. The years ahead may not be any happier, or even any better, but they will be different: In our plans and dreams as you know are a new classroom building, new dining facilities, and a new library to go along with it. And no doubt there will be boys.
These changes you will not altogether miss; we shall keep in touch with you and I hope you feel that you would like to keep in touch with us. Be sure and come and visit when you can take the time, in the lush of spring or the brilliance of fall or even in the deepest doldrum of the Februaries. The latchstring is out, and for Joyce and me and our family, there will always be a special place for those who in their last year at N.S.F.G. made our first so pleasant and rewarding. Many thanks.
Sincerely,
Nathan A. Fuller Headmaster
