This summer has been a sweltering one, not only in South Florida but across the nation! We trust that everyone is being careful in this heat both on and off the job and all the while making the most of their vacations and quality time with your loved ones. A few months ago, we spotlighted construction safety and important topics to pay special attention to. One of those topics was heat stress. Pretty timely considering the temperatures we are dealing with. If you have time, please check out the posts on our social media channels. Remember we are on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram!
Concerning this edition of our newsletter, we are thrilled to share updates on some of our current projects, company accomplishments, and the amazing efforts of our committed team. On the project front, were highlighting a new and exciting project, UHealth at SoLé Mia in North Miami. Other project updates include Baptist Health Care’s New Main Campus in Pensacola, Florida, a fit-out project at Westlawn in the Bullstreet District of Columbia, South Carolina, a residential Beach House in North Miami, the expansion at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, and the UM Ambulatory Care Center in Coral Gables. Remember, if you would like to see your project highlighted, be sure to mention it to your Project Superintendent or Project Manager and have them send the photos and details to our Marketing Department and we will be more than happy to oblige.
Also in the newsletter, we will hear from a few of our team members on what it means to live our core values of Trust, Team, Grit, and Growth! These testimonials reflect the efforts of not only these Team Members, but of more and more of our team daily. In all actuality, living these core values on a personal level and not only within our organization, both as an individual and as a family, could assist in dealing with our everyday life. Always aspire to be the best you can be, believe in yourself, and the sky is the limit! Remember- “you grow through what you go through!”
August is National Back to School month, and it is my sincere hope all team members who have grade school children have memorable firsts, lasts, and in between this coming year. As we know, time flies, cherish these days as it can go by quickly! Now as these kids are headed back to this new school year, we are very proud of our Tamarac Headquarter team who rallied together to donate supplies for those children who may be in need. It is very rewarding when we contribute to our communities and make a difference.
Speaking of make a difference, wait until you read about the awesome culture pieces in “We Heard It Through the Pipeline.” I am truly proud of our team members, and their willingness to offer their time, their physical selves, and professional abilities to important causes.
Be sure to save the dates on the calendar provided by the HR Team in this newsletter of important events that will be taking place throughout the end of the year. Finally be on the look-out for our completely refurbished company website that we will launch in the next few weeks, I saw a preview and it’s something to be proud of!
As always, if you any questions, comments, or concerns for the good of the organization, please feel free to reach out and give me a call at 305-728-3420 or send me and email at Russell.nash@wrnash.com.

From the very beginning of the construction of the Westlawn Building on Bullstreet, our SC team has been involved in installing plumbing and mechanical services. We take immense pride in being a part of this transformative project, contributing our expertise and craftsmanship to bring this space to life.

Our team successfully executed a major project involving the construction of a fully operational hospital campus. Boasting an impressive 264-bed capacity, this state-ofthe-art facility spans across approximately 602,000 square feet and is estimated to have incurred costs amounting to around $615 million.

The campus features a two-story Podium and an eight-story patient tower that houses various essential departments. Notably, it includes a Level II trauma center equipped with 61 examination rooms and three triage areas, as well as dedicated spaces for general medical and surgical procedures. Additionally, critical care units are available alongside a specialized mother-baby unit and an extensive surgery department comprising 25 procedure rooms.
Furthermore, the campus offers specialty cardiac care treatment facilities along with designated procedure rooms catering to this specific area of expertise. With its spacious layout allowing for future expansion opportunities, the hospital aims to provide exceptional healthcare services in line with industry standards.
This remarkable achievement was made possible through the collaboration between William R. Nash LLC., and Nash Plumbing and Mechanical LLC., operating under the joint venture Nash Mechanical LLC.
The official opening of this innovative hospital campus is scheduled for September- marking another significant milestone reached by Nash Mechanical LLC.’s team. Moreover, the completion of building construction has already garnered recognition from AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) as it passed their stringent assessments at 100%. This accolade serves as testament to the expertise employed throughout every phase of development undertaken by our team at William R. Nash!
North Miami Beach, Florida
Our team is performing complete plumbing, fire protection, and insulation services for this beautiful Miami Beach, Florida residence!
Over the past few months, our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital project has been incredibly busy. We have been working diligently on various aspects of the project, including the new Air Handler Unit, Cooling Tower, and Central Energy Plant. Our project team takes great pride in our work. Swapping hospital equipment is no easy task, but we strive to ensure that our healthcare providers have the necessary infrastructure to excel at what they do best.
Our team has hit a project milestone at the UHealth Doral Ambulatory Care Center in Coral Gables, Florida. After weeks of hard work, we have successfully completed the concrete casting in the parking lot and installed a 50’ long trench drain on the top floor. The project is advancing at a great pace, and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and dedication our team has put into making this happen. Keep up the great work, team!

August is National Back to School Month and William R. Nash took the opportunity to ask our generous employee owners to help and make a difference in the lives of children who are in need. By donating school supplies, our team ensured that less fortunate children had the tools needed to succeed in the classroom. It was heartwarming to see the generosity of our team as we collected the supplies and delivered them to Ernest R. Graham K-8 Academy. These donations not only provided practical support, but they also sent a powerful message to these children - that they are valued and supported in their educational journey. Thank you to everyone who contributed and donated!
