Hello Team,
I hope that all of you and your families are doing well as we approach the summer of 2026. Our Leadership team was impressed with our employee-owner’s turnout for this year’s Annual meeting, as was the leadership of HB Mechanical Group in attendance. This year’s turnout has forced us to look for a larger venue to host the event, so stay tuned for next year’s date and location.
In the near future, there will be correspondence sent out to all employee-owners regarding our annual engagement survey. Our Leadership team encourages everyone to take the time to complete the survey so we can evaluate our organization and leadership so we can continue to make William R. Nash, LLC, a great place to work. Your thoughts and opinions matter to us more than you think. So be on the lookout for the survey information.
Our second quarter financials closed on March 30th, and we started to pick up from our underperforming numbers in the first quarter. As our newly awarded projects continue to gain momentum, our quarterly numbers will continue to improve. Our current backlog of work is strong, as we are maintaining backlog equal to our budgeted revenue for the year. Our estimating team continues to put in the time and effort to ensure we are keeping everyone as busy as we can.
I would like to recognize and congratulate all our employee-owners for going 998,436 consecutive hours without a lost-time or recordable injury. While I hate to see a streak end, your commitment and dedication to our safety efforts show that we can reach our milestone of one million hours worked without a lost-time or recordable incident. Let us keep our new streak going so we hit and eclipse our milestone of one million hours.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding our organization, please feel free to reach out to me either by phone at 786-402-1052, or by email at ryan.nash@wrnash.com.

Enjoy the rest of the newsletter!

Ryan Nash Division President
We thank each one of you for your service & dedication.

We’re proud to support the next phase of growth at HCA Florida University Hospital with the Emergency Department expansion, building on a strong foundation of partnership, performance, and experience.
During the hospital’s original construction, William R. Nash played a key role in delivering a large-scale, multi-structure healthcare campus. The project consisted of four new building structures and the renovation of an existing freestanding Emergency Department, which transitioned into the hospital’s primary ED. Our scope included BIM coordination along with full mechanical, plumbing, medical gas, and fuel oil systems across the 303,590 square foot campus. This encompassed the 160-bed patient tower, Central Energy Plant, Medical Office Building, and Parking Garage.

As part of the current phase, William R. Nash is providing mechanical services for a new 7,877 square foot Emergency Department expansion. The scope includes the installation of a new air handling unit with variable refrigerant units, along with associated ductwork, insulation, and controls. The project also includes the replacement of an existing rooftop unit with integration into the current duct distribution system.
With a deep understanding of the facility and its infrastructure, our team is executing this work with careful coordination to support ongoing operations while preparing the space for future demand. This project reflects continued investment in critical healthcare infrastructure and the value of trusted partnerships that carry forward from one phase to the next.

Our team continues to make strong progress on the Palms West Tower Expansion, and the work happening below ground is nothing short of impressive. What looks like an intricate maze is actually a highly coordinated underground system, where every pipe has been carefully pitched to allow gravity to carry the load. It’s detailed work that takes planning, precision, and a lot of experience to get right.
Another major effort on this project has been the system shutdowns within the active hospital. These are not routine tasks. Our crews are shutting down critical systems, completing complex tie-ins within tight timeframes, and bringing everything back online safely and efficiently. There’s no room for error, and the level of coordination required is significant.

A large portion of this work is happening overnight, with teams working from 11 PM to 7 AM to minimize disruption to hospital operations. On top of that, many have been putting in overtime and weekend hours to keep pace with the project’s demands.
This kind of effort doesn’t go unnoticed. It takes grit, teamwork, and a strong commitment to doing the job right.
We appreciate everything our field teams are doing to move this project forward. Your hard work is what makes it happen. (Next Page will feature photos of the shutdown.)

Our field team will be enjoying a sponsored “shut-down” lunch onsite, generously provided by one of our vendor partners. It’s a great opportunity to pause and recognize the long hours, dedication, and effort that have gone into making this work possible. We appreciate the continued support from our partners and the hard work our team brings to the job every day.

Work continues at a strong pace on the Cusano’s Bakery Hoagie Line Project, with our team fully engaged in the installation of steam, glycol, and gas lines.
This phase of the project reflects a comprehensive scope of work, including mechanical piping and equipment, sheet metal duct and flue systems, plumbing piping and fixtures, grease trap installation, and thermal insulation. Also captured in this update are key moments from a recent crane lift and an ice water shutdown, both requiring detailed coordination and execution.
Great work by Project Manager Robert Randolph, Superintendent Rudi Castro, Foreman Ramiro Ramirez, and the entire onsite team, Gustavo Quintana, Serafin Castro, Carlos Bonilla, and Alexander Traba, for their continued effort and focus in the field.
From overhead installations to precise system integration, the progress on this project is a direct result of the team’s coordination, craftsmanship, and commitment to getting the job done right.

The St. Lucie Parking Garage is officially complete, and the owners recently celebrated the opening of their new, much-needed facility.
Our team delivered both plumbing and mechanical scopes, including domestic water, storm systems, and mechanical mini-splits. From underground infrastructure to final system installations, this project reflects the coordination, precision, and effort our teams bring to every job. Great work to everyone involved in bringing this project across the finish line.

Progress continues at the UHealth Tower Surgery Expansion as our team advances work across multiple floors throughout the facility. Current efforts include the installation of plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, medical gas, and natural gas to support a wide range of renovations and new buildouts.
The project scope spans several critical healthcare spaces, including the 1st Floor Management Buildout, Bio Med and Stat Lab renovations, a new kitchen and surgery waiting area on the 2nd Floor, Central Sterile renovations, Surgical Suites, and a new PACU on the 3rd Floor, along with Cath Labs on the 4th Floor and ICU work on the 5th Floor.
Great progress continues as our team supports the expansion and modernization of these essential healthcare environments.

Miami, Florida
Ongoing work at the UHealth Tower Entry Lobby Addition & Alterations project includes plumbing renovations at the facility’s main front entry lobby. Our team is currently installing domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems supporting the transformation of this highly visible healthcare space.
From underground infrastructure to critical utility coordination, our team continues delivering the detailed work required to support the modernization and functionality of this important environment.

We took a well-deserved pause this Valentine’s Day to celebrate the incredible women of William R. Nash with a Galentine’s luncheon. From sharing a meal to simply enjoying time together, it was a reminder that connection matters just as much as the work we do every day.

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a little extra luck and a lot of appreciation for our team. From festive prizes to a few well-earned smiles, it was a chance to recognize the people who keep everything running day in and day out. Taking a moment to celebrate together, even in small ways, helps build the kind of culture that makes a difference.

Golden Easter Egg Hunt fun was in full swing around the office as employees searched high and low for hidden eggs tucked throughout the building. Those lucky enough to find one made a trip to HR to claim a special prize waiting for them.

At William R. Nash, giving back to the community is something we take great pride in, especially when supporting causes that are meaningful to our team members and their families.

William R. Nash was proud to sponsor the 14th Annual Payton’s Pals Golf Tournament, held on March 9, 2026, in support of the Payton Nash Foundation, Inc.
For more than a decade, this event has brought together family, friends, partners, and community members to make a meaningful impact within the special needs community. What began as a way to honor Payton’s journey has grown into a longstanding tradition dedicated to giving back and supporting organizations that help individuals and families thrive.
Pictured are President Ryan Nash alongside his wife, Brandi Nash, and daughter, Payton Nash, whose story continues to inspire the mission behind this incredible event.
We are honored to support an organization that reflects the values of compassion, community, and connection, and we thank everyone who came out swinging for a great cause.

One cause especially close to one of our team members is the fight against childhood cancer. Each year, Project Manager John Barron participates in the Keys for Hope relay benefiting the SebastianStrong Foundation. This inspiring event brings together teams of runners who complete a 100-mile overnight relay from Key Largo to Key West, finishing at sunrise on Higgs Beach. Beyond the physical challenge, the relay represents hope, perseverance, and a commitment to funding safer, more targeted treatments for children battling cancer.
We are proud to support John and the incredible mission of the SebastianStrong Foundation as they continue making a difference for children and families facing unimaginable challenges.

William R. Nash recently held another successful Annual Meeting, bringing the team together to reflect on the past year and align on the path ahead.
The meeting opened with remarks from Ryan Nash, followed by Bob Whalen of HB Global LLC, alongside members of the HB Mechanical Group leadership team. Together, they shared valuable insights on company performance, key priorities, and long-term vision.
Throughout the presentation, topics included company highlights, overall results, safety performance, growth initiatives, and the pipeline of upcoming projects. A consistent theme carried through each discussion: the company’s success is a direct result of its people and their commitment to doing the work the right way.
Thank you to every member of the William R. Nash team for your continued dedication. Your efforts are what drive progress and strengthen the culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Throughout Women in Construction Week, William R. Nash recognized the talented women who help drive our organization forward both in the field and behind the scenes. Through social media spotlights and company-wide acknowledgement we highlighted the many contributions women make across our projects, operations, safety, planning, administration, and support teams. Their dedication, leadership, and expertise continue to strengthen our culture and play an important role in the success of our company every day.

We’re excited to celebrate a special milestone with Anabel Soriano as she prepares to welcome her third grandchild! Congratulations to Anabel and her growing family on this wonderful new chapter. Wishing them all the joy and excitement that comes with welcoming a new little one.

SCHOOL SPIRIT & SCHOLASTIC SUCCESS
Kristen Borst and her family are proud to share some exciting accomplishments regarding their daughter, Nola Borst! Nola was inducted into her school’s National Beta Club, recognizing her dedication to academic excellence and leadership. She also earned a spot on her middle school cheerleading team after a competitive week-long tryout process.

Our team had a wonderful time welcoming the next generation to the office for Take Your Child to Work Day! Throughout the day, the kids had the opportunity to learn more about what their parents do, explore different parts of the business, and participate in hands-on activities that made the experience both fun and memorable. A lunch break filled with pizza, laughter, and conversations about everyone’s favorite moments gave the group a chance to relax and recharge before continuing the day’s activities.

Congratulations to Sandra Thomas and Robert Randolph for winning our Biggest Loser Challenge after an impressive 17 weeks of dedication and hard work! Both team members lost the largest percentage of body weight throughout the challenge, proving that consistency and commitment pay off. We’re sure the reward was worth the sacrifice. Great job to both of you!

Our Service Department recently provided a BBQ lunch for our warehouse and fabrication teams as a thank-you for their continued hard work and support. From coordinating materials to delivering quality fabrication work behind the scenes, these teams play an important role in helping our projects stay on track and operating efficiently every day.
The lunch was a small way to recognize the dedication, teamwork, and effort that often happens outside the spotlight but makes a major impact across the organization.

A special shoutout to Douglas Moon (left) and Nicholas Ahrem (right) for completing specialized training courses through MEP Academy. Douglas completed the How to Read HVAC Blueprints & Plans Course, while Nicholas completed the How to Read Plumbing Blueprints & Plans Course. Great work continuing to expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills!

Our Tamarac office celebrated Mother’s Day with a special luncheon for the moms featuring delicious paella, thoughtful gifts, and time together as a team. It was a wonderful way to recognize and celebrate the incredible women who bring so much dedication both at work and at home each day.
