NFL Alumni Player Members Are Eligible For Free Cholesterol, Diabetes, and Prostate Cancer Tests For Father’s Day MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., June 2, 2016 -‐-‐ The NFL Alumni Association, an organization comprised mainly of retired football players, is giving all of its player members a gift for Father’s Day this year – free testing for Cholesterol, Diabetes and Prostate Cancer. “One of our highest priorities is helping members manage their health needs and I’m excited to provide retired football players with these three important tests for men’s health,” said Joe Pisarcik, President and CEO of NFL Alumni. All former NFL players who are members of the NFL Alumni Association are eligible for the free tests. This offer is only available throughout the month of June 2016 and the tests can be performed at more than 1,700 locations nationwide. To claim their free blood tests, player members should visit www.nflalumni.org/fathersday and login to their membership account to receive the NFLA registration phone number. The NFL Alumni Association roster of health and wellness related membership benefit programs includes Teladoc, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, LA Fitness, LightForce Therapy Lasers, and American Hearing Benefits. NFL Alumni Association has also partnered with the NFL Player Care Foundation and Tulane University School of Medicine on a national year-‐round cardiovascular and health screening program. The Alumni Association is a charter member of the NFL Player Care Foundation Board which was created in 2007. Upcoming events are scheduled in Canton, Green Bay, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Houston.
