Strikeout Skin Cancer Night Presented By Cancer Treatment Centers of America

Cancer Treatment Centers of America can make a huge impact with Thunder fans as the presenting sponsor of a Trenton Thunder game. Game sponsorship gives your hospital media exposure before the game, a dominant presence in the stadium on game day and the chance to interact with thousands of Trenton Thunder fans.

Skin Cancer Screenings & Education

The sport of baseball, with the “boys of summer” and many games played under sunny, summer skies is a natural fit for creating awareness for Skin Cancer. The Trenton Thunder game on Saturday, August 30, will be promoted as Strikeout Skin Cancer Night presented by Cancer Treatment Centers of America and would feature free skin cancer screenings during the game.

The Thunder would set up a private area for Cancer Treatment Centers of America doctors to conduct skin cancer screenings at no cost to fans.

CTCA could also use the space to collect contact information and distribute educational materials.

The Thunder would invite regional cancer support groups to attend the game. Each group would receive a special offer code that can be used online to purchase reduced price tickets courtesy of Cancer Treatment Centers of America. These groups could include the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Koman Foundation and US 2.

Fireworks Sponsor Post game fireworks shows remain the top drawing promotion that the Thunder present each season.

Last year’s average attendance for fireworks shows was 6,563! (seating capacity is 6,150) As the sponsor of the game and fireworks show on Saturday, August 30, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America logo will be displayed on the left and right field video screens during the show and Cancer Treatment Centers of America will be tagged in all announcements about the show during the night.

This game is against the Reading Fightin Phils, the Double-A Affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Reading is the top drawing opponent that the Thunder host each season. This game is also the final Saturday night game of the season (Labor Day Weekend).

Post Game “Stroll of Honor” When the game is over and the fireworks show is complete, all fans may participate in a walk around the bases in memory or support of someone in their lives who has been effected by cancer.

Walkers will state the name or names of who they are honoring over the stadium speakers as they begin the walk at first base.

Participants will be shown on the big screen alongside the Cancer Treatment Centers of America logo.

The event will be promoted over the public address throughout the game.

Pre-Event Promotion Cancer Treatment Centers of America will be co-branded in all publicity for the game. Promotion may include: * Thunder website * Thunder email newsletter (39,000 subscribers) * in stadium public address announcements during games * newspaper, web and radio advertisements * on the Thunder Radio Network (during game broadcasts) * The game would be branded with your company name in all promotional materials created by the Trenton Thunder.
