HOW WILL MY CREDITS TRANSFER?
Students may transfer a maximum of 64 semester hours, or 96 quarter hours. Generally, courses completed at a regionally accredited institution above 100-level or above with a grade of C- or higher in accordance with a liberal arts education will transfer. An unofficial transcript evaluation can be requested through the Registrar’s Office at registrar@willamette.edu.
Willamette offers many different pathways that allow students to transfer with junior standing (60 credits). Typically students with an AA, AS, AAOT, or ASOT-CS degree enter without having to take many general education courses, and in some cases do not have to take introductory courses for their major.
More information about transfer credit policies can be found at willamette.edu/go/transfer-today.
AFFORDING YOUR FUTURE
Transfer students are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships that range from $22,000 to $32,000.
Willamette also offers a one-time $2,000 scholarship to community college students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa honors society.
To be considered for need-based financial aid, submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) alongside your application for admission.
