Addressing the Workforce in Wilkes In March of 2022, the Wilkes EDC and High Country Workforce Development Board will hold the ‘Wilkes Workforce Summit’ in North Wilkesboro. The goal of this summit is to attract and retain workforce. Business and Community Leaders are invited to attend. There will be an overview of the issues affecting workforce and attendees will be connected with resources. Together we will strategize what Wilkes County can do to overcome workforce challenges!
