Towering six feet tall at the shoulders and weighing in at an impressive one ton, the American bison is a magnificent animal by any measure. Yet, despite once numbering in the
tens of millions, this great American icon was all but decimated during the 19th century.
Today, the American bison stands as an enduring symbol of the importance of conservation management. Beginning with our
first print in 1970 and continuing to today, Wild Wings and the artists we represent jointly donate a portion of each year’s print editions to support the critical work of conservation
