To create a feeling of calm in this busy, family-friendly laundry, designer Sarah Parry-Okeden of Wild Orchid Spaces opted for a modern coastal style. Effortlessly balancing practicality and style, the inviting washroom is not only high-functioning and aesthetically pleasing, it also provides oodles of storage space. Generous hanging space and an oversized sink for soaking and floral arrangements add to its appeal. “The size of the laundry and placement within the house created a free-flowing space that had a direct connection to the gardens, utilising the sunshine and natural airflow from the surrounding environment,” says Sarah.
