計畫名稱：台灣野鳥家禽流行性感冒病毒學監測及流行病學研究
一 、中文摘要： 為配合家禽AI病毒防治工作，監控野禽攜帶病毒亞型之變化，由 專業的鳥類觀察人員提供候鳥族群野外資訊，選擇台北市、宜蘭縣、 台中縣、嘉義縣、台南縣、高雄縣、花蓮縣、金門縣為採樣樣區，自 候鳥春季與秋季過境期間、度冬期間進行採樣工作，將採回分離病毒 所需之4,447樣本數量，進行病毒檢測工作，分離出12種亞型、28個 弱病毒株，於台北與高雄兩地的鴨科鳥類中驗出2種H7亞型5個病毒 株。 二 、英文摘要： In 2009 ten new sampling sites were added to the list of areas monitored for avian flu. Taipei City and the counties of Taichung, Changhua, Jiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Yilan, Hualian, and Penghu were the main areas sampled for monitoring purposes. Two of these areas, Kaohsiung and Penghu counties received assistance in obtaining samples. Fecal sampling was conducted on visiting birds during the spring and autumn bird migration seasons. A total of 4,447 samples were collected and tested, with 28 of those samples testing positive for weakened strains of the avian flu virus. Of the 28 samples from birds of the order Anseriformes , thus showing that birds of the order Anseriformes are the primary carriers of the virus.
