Williams Island Soccer Academy Our academy focuses on a positive introduction to soccer, providing fundamental moves in a fun learning environment. This will help develop key social and cognitive skills needed to link the fundamentals and how to apply them to football in the next stage of their development. Williams Island Soccer Academy gives children on Williams Island access to structured youth soccer training in a positive environment. We focus on helping every child stay active, develop friendships and strengthen their skills on the field. Limited to 10 payers per age groups. Coaching Led by Coach Sergio Córdoba, a former professional soccer player with domestic and international experience in the CONCACAF Champions League, Williams Island Soccer Academy provides children with a positive introduction to soccer through structured training in a fun and engaging environment. Our program focuses on developing fundamental soccer skills while encouraging teamwork, confidence, and key social and cognitive development. Through age-appropriate coaching, children will stay active, build friendships, strengthen their abilities on the field, and establish a solid foundation for the next stage of their soccer journey. Tournament Program Tournament play will be an important motivational component of the Williams Island Soccer Academy. There will be four tournament weekends per year, creating goals for players while avoiding overuse of the shared soccer area. Academy Uniforms The Academy has an official uniform which includes a navy, gold & white jersey, with player name, white shorts and socks for $75, which will be paid at enrollment. See sizing chart on the next page. Program Seasonal Schedule: Because lights are not permitted in the soccer area, class times may be moved earlier during the winter as daylight decreases. Any seasonal adjustment will be communicated in advance. Capacity remains limited to 10 players per group. If demand exceeds capacity, we will open an additional group. Weather Policy: If a session has to be cancelled due to weather or unsafe field conditions, we will make a reasonable effort to reschedule or provide a make-up session when possible. If rescheduling is not possible, the session may be cancelled for that day.
Academy Uniforms Sizing Chart Find the Perfect Fit For the best comfort and performance on the field, please use our sizing chart to select the appropriate size for your child. We recommend choosing a size based on your child’s current measurements rather than age alone. If your child falls between sizes, consider sizing up to allow for comfort, movement, and room to grow. IMPORTANT: To achieve a perfect fit, measure carefully using a tape measure or suler with a string, record and consult the size chart for appropriate size. Measurements are in inches.
Enrollment and what’s included The enrollment fee is $250 per month, per child and includes two (2) training sessions per week. Please note that uniforms are not included in the enrollment fee and will need to be purchased separately. Schedule - Get Ready to Play! Our Soccer Academy schedule is designed to provide young athletes with consistent training, skill development, and plenty of time on the field. Please review the schedule below to find your child’s designated training days and times based on their age group. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so players are ready to kick off each session on time.
Coach Sergio Córdoba Coach Sergio Córdoba began his professional soccer career in 2011, making his debut in the Costa Rican Cup quarterfinals against Uruguay de Coronado. Throughout his career, he competed in domestic tournaments and internationally in the prestigious CONCACAF Champions League. Drawing from his professional playing experience, Coach Sergio brings valuable knowledge, discipline, and a passion for soccer to developing the next generation of athletes.

The enrollment fee is $250 per month, per child and includes two (2) training sessions per week. Please note that uniforms are not included in the Monthly program fee and will need to be purchased separately. The program staff has my permission to provide emergency medical care and arrange for transportation to a hospital in the event that my son/ daughter is injured or sick. By signing this form, parents or guardians acknowledge and agree to all the terms stated above, including the right to expel a child without refund or explanation for violations of the registration, payment, dress code, code of conduct, program rules, or misbehavior during the Williams Island Soccer Academy. Waiver for minors and adults: As the parent or guardian of a minor child participating in activities or using any facilities or using any facilities of Williams Island Club, I hereby waive any claim against Williams Island Club and its’ employees, hereafter arising from injuries to said child, which said injury is sustained while upon said facilities, participating in said activities or being transported there from or thereto, regardless of whether such injury is caused in whole or in part by the negligence of said Williams Island Club or its’ employees.
