WILLIAMS ISLAND CUSTOMIZED FACIAL

A customized facial uniquely formulated by the esthetician for your skin and your skin goals. A consultation with the aesthetician will determine the facial best suited for you in our beautifully appointed treatment rooms. Pamper your skin by taking refuge in our most requested facial. Experience euphoric sensations from an invigorating cleanse that immediately reveals rejuvenated, radiant skin.

Using our preferred skincare lines Eminence Organics and Skinceuticals we are prepared to take your skin care to the next level. Our 60 and 90 minute Customized Facials consist of a cleanse, exfoliation, extraction, steam and massage. The cleanser is applied to the skin to get rid of surface impurities, your skin is then analyzed. Exfoliation and extractions followed by a mask. Masks are an extremely important aspect of facials. Masks must be applied to an already cleansed face to allow for deeper penetration and allowed to sit for a period of time depending on the mask. After this, our SPF is applied so you leave your facial with protection that lasts for the rest of the day. 30 minute facials include steam, deep cleaning and a mask but not extractions. Your esthetician might recommend a specialty mask if they feel your skin requires in order to obtain your skincare goals. This would be at an additional cost.

GENTLEMEN’S FACIAL

This is a real man’s facial using natural organic products especially selected for a man’s skin and individual needs. With the use of steamed towels receive a face, neck and hand massage with non-perfumed, non-greasy, natural products. This facial is wonderfully relaxing and fantastic for keeping a man’s skin in optimal condition.

QMS COLLAGEN FACIAL • 90 minutes

Collagen is the most abundant and most important protein produced by the body for the skin. It accounts for one-third of our body’s total protein content and, in addition to skin, keeps teeth, bones, muscles, joints and all connective tissues strong and healthy. What is more, collagen is responsible for 60% of all factors that regulate the moisture content of the skin. This protein is therefore crucial in maintaining the functionality, elasticity, and firmness of the skin. It literally is the glue that holds the body together. The problem is that the body’s production of collagen declines as we age, which can lead to sagging, wrinkled skin. The good news is that you can get to the root of the problem and correct this deficiency fairly quickly with a collagencontaining skincare regimen. Depth, speed, and force are key to any deep muscle treatment, but Theragun impacts muscle with a targeted, scientifically calibrated dose for greater therapeutic benefits for the body.

It reaches 60% deeper into the muscle than the average massager, touching the body and then coming off of it 40 times per second; a powerful treatment you won’t find with high-speed, low-amplitude devices that rapidly vibrate and overstimulate the skin.

HYDRAFACIAL LIGHT THERAPY

LED Light Therapy is a painless, relaxing, non-invasive skin-care treatment that has multiple benefits—particularly stimulating collagen and treating mild to moderate acne. LED treatments work by using an array of bright light-emitting diodes (originally developed by NASA!) that send low-level light energy into the deeper layers of the skin. Red light LED stimulates cellular activity, including the fibroblasts that produce collagen, which gives young skin its plump look that helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles, treat sun-damage and stretch marks, and reduce redness after more aggressive IPL or laser treatments. The results won’t be as dramatic as plastic surgery, IPL or laser, but it’s a gentler, more natural, less expensive way to go. Blue light LED works by killing Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria that lives below the surface of the skin and is responsible for acne. YOUTH PROGRAM

Ages 14 and 15 years

Physical activity is critical to your children’s health and wellbeing. The Williams Island Spa Youth Program is geared towards creating a courageous and health-conscious younger generation, kids classes and training at The Spa are designed to develop strong athletic and motivational skills that your kids will carry throughout their lifetime. Members 14 and 15 years of age are admitted into The Spa if they have consent of parent(s) to participate in this program. They also have successfully completed the youth certification program with one of Williams Island’s Personal Trainers.

BABY AND ME FITNESS & SWIM

Ages 6 months to 2 years

All classes will be held outdoors at the Mediterranean Village Tennis Pavilion at 9:00am for a 45 minute class with a certified professional instructor.

Sign ups will be through MyWellness and charges will be made to your membership account.

SWIMMING LESSON PROGRAM

Our programs follow Red Cross guidelines and are facilitated by Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors (WSI), adhering to the levels as follows…

Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills: Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it.

Level 2: Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Children will learn basic swimming skills.

Level 3: Stroke Development: Additional guided practice will help students improve their skills.

Level 4: Stroke Improvement: Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills.

Level 5: Stroke Refinement: Guidance allows kids to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers.

Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency: Students will learn to swim with ease and efficiency, and gain the ability to swim smoothly over greater distances. Swimmers will also have the option to participate in more advanced courses,*Red Cross Water Safety Instructors (WSI) award level certifications accordingly.

GROUP PROGRAMS

Learn to Swim Group Classes (6 months & up)

Participants are grouped according to age, experience and developmental level to learn water safety skills and how to swim. Children move through the Red Cross swimming levels quickly, while having fun with experienced, knowledgeable instructors and their friends.

Open Water Training

(10 years & up) Participants train in a swim team type format of lapping and drills (in a pool). It is designed for athletes training for an independent open water races or tri-athletes working to increase their technique and decrees their race time.

Synchronized Swimming Group Lessons (4 years & up) Participants learn the basics of synchronized swimming, a sport that combines swimming, dance and gymnastics to perform creative routines to music.

APPOINTMENTS

Being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated. In order to receive your full service and not inconvenience our other guests and members, please arrive 15-30 minutes in advance of your appointment to allow time for you to change into a robe, complete our Spa Service Pre-Treatment Form and to relax prior to your service. Thirty minutes is suggested if you are having a facial or body treatments.

GUEST POLICY

Only Residents and their immediate family members, and NonResident Club Members will be given access to the WIPOA facilities. This policy includes the Spa, Food and Beverage and Tennis. To view the entire policy on the mobile app, go under the Club news section or in the articles section of the website.

SPA SERVICE PRE-TREATMENT FORM

Prior to your service, you are required to complete a Spa PreTreatment Form to safe guard your well-being and allow us to safely deliver our services and minimizing any risk of injury.

GENERAL DECORUM

As a courtesy to your fellow members or guests cell phone usage is permitted in the open common areas only; such as the spa lobby, or spa boutique area. Video or camera usage is strictly prohibited in the locker rooms and permission is needed for the filming or pictures taken in all other areas due to privacy of other members and guests. The use of the speaker phone is not permitted at any time in the spa facility. The Williams Island Code of Conduct is expected throughout the facility.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of any spa treatment, any personal training or pilates sessions, including but not limited to, duo, trio, or quad reformer/tower classes requires a 12-hour advance notice during business hours. Should a cancellation be made less than 12 hours in advance, or not at all, the Member/Guest will be automatically charged a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellation will result in the full cost of the service. Series ticket(s) may be redeemed to cover the cancellation fee.

IN HOME SPA & FITNESS SERVICES

Enjoy the luxury of spa services or personal training at your residence. An additional fee will be added to the service. Limited services available.
