Our Programs
FOCUS We focus on the right education at the right time. From critical-period socialization, manners, and healthy puppy play through adolescence and end of life - we guide you with kindness and science.
FORMAT Private Training
Our trainers come to you! Your sweet pup learns the ropes of living in your home with your family. All family members are welcome to participate. Board & Train We do the heavy lifting for you. FACILITIES We offer home-like board and train if you seek a training camp experience. We also partner with our sister company, Doggie Zen Den, for daycare, boarding, classes & puppy socials.

ADOLESCENT & ADULT PROGRAMS
We're here for all
Sexual maturity kicks off adolescence and is followed by two important life stages - both of which also come with behavior changes. Adolescence is filled with continued growth, change & hormones. A dog begins exploring and trying out new behaviors. Some of these behaviors aren't so welcome, like counter surfing, roaming, household destruction, excess barking and jumping.

WHY US
Board & Train programs have traditionally used tools like ecollars, prong collars, choke chains and slip leads to teach compliance. We don't. Our programs teach dogs to coexist happily - they choose to do what we ask because they want to, not because we they have to "or else." Humans predict great things, not fear or pain, when working with Wiggle Butt Academy. We commit to providing the highest quality learning without the nasty side effects of force.

FAMILY PAWS A certified Family Paws Parent Educator (FPPE) helps families with dogs & infants or toddlers live safely and with harmony. DOG | HUMAN AGGRESSION We approach all cases with kindness, including aggression. Because most aggression is rooted in fear, our kind approach gets to the source of the problem. No band-aids here, we help your dog feel better about what's scary. When your dog feels better, aggressive behavior is no longer needed to tell the scary thing to go away.

Prices HOURLY Lead Behavior Consultant The initial behavior consultation for our Lead Behavior Consultant, Nicole Kohanski, is $300 and includes 1.5 hours of in home time, safety support & plan development/set up. Subsequent sessions are $175 an hour. If an additional trainer is needed for working session setups, the add-on fee is $50 an hour. Certified Behavior Consultant The initial behavior consultation for our Certified Behavior Consultant, Jenny Kraus, is $225 and includes 1.5 hours of in home time, safety support & plan development/set up. Subsequent sessions are $150 an hour. If an additional trainer is needed for working session setups, the add-on fee is $50 an hour.
BOARD & TRAIN
Board and Train services for fearful, stressed or dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviors can be arranged. Call to discuss.
