6 Insert the removal hook into the used filter.

Keep the holder at a right angle.
Pull the used filter straight out.

Pull the holder straight out while turning it slightly to make sure the filter remains in place.
8 Dispose of the used microphone filter tool.
Invert the microphone filter tool.
