READ BEFORE INSTALLING COMPASS GPS 3.0 SOFTWARE!
To be able to access the full functionality of EVOKE, you MUST follow the below instructions when installing your Compass GPS 3.0 software. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS.
NEW! COMPASS GPS USB CARD Your Compass GPS 3.0 software is loaded on the EVOKE USB card. Simply flip open the USB chip and insert it into your computer’s USB drive to begin the upload.
Step 1: Confirm that you have the USA version of Compass. Open your currently installed version of Compass GPS. Click on the ‘?’ in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Select ‘About Compass GPS’. Verify the country selected is ‘USA’. If you see that your distributor is USA, you may STOP reading this form and install the software on the USB drive included. If the distributor is not USA, you MUST follow steps 2-3 below.
Step 2: Uninstall the software. Go to Control Panel/Programs and Features. Find and Select ‘Compass GPS’. Click on ‘Uninstall’.
