The Plantronics BT300/BT600 are Bluetooth USB adapters that can connect to a computer directly or through the Plantronics MDA220. You may pair the BT300/BT600 with a COM-DEX so that audio may be streamed to the COM-DEX and so that the COM-DEX may be used as a microphone.
To pair the BT300/BT600 to your COM-DEX: 1. Make sure COM-DEX is fully charged and turned off (loop of COM-DEX is open) 2. Turn Bluetooth off or power off any devices paired to COM-DEX 3. Plug Plantronics BT300/BT600 into your computer’s USB port (if using a BT600, put it into pairing mode by pressing and holding the recessed pair button until the adapter flashes red and blue) 4. C lose the loop on your COM-DEX 5. While searching, your COM-DEX will flash red and blue. The COM-DEX will stop flashing when the devices are paired
a. When paired, BT300 will display a solid blue light for 5 seconds, and the light will proceed to flash
b. When paired, BT600 will display a solid blue light
6. You can now hear audio from the computer through the COM-DEX to the hearing aids. If on a call through the computer, the microphone of the COM-DEX will work for outgoing audio
