Get the most out of your made-for-iPhone connection, by completing the following steps with your phone before connecting to your Widex BEYOND. Step 1: Verify that your iPhoneÂŽ has the most recent iOS and is a compatible device Go to Settings > General > Software Update. You should see Your software is up to date. If not, verify you are connected to Wi-Fi and select Install to complete the update. Widex BEYOND and the BEYOND app are compatible with various APPLE products. Step 2: Minimize potential interference on your phone: Turn off Wi-Fi Assist: Settings > Cellular > (scroll to the bottom of the screen) > Turn off Wi-Fi Assist Turn off other Bluetooth devices that are not in use by going to Settings > Bluetooth > My Devices > Select the information icon and select Forget This Device if it is an unnecessary device Turn off unnecessary GPS functions by going to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Change any unnecessary apps from Always to While Using or Never.
Step 3: Download the BEYOND app: Go to the App Store and search for WIDEX. Find the Widex BEYOND app and select GET Select Install There is no charge for the BEYOND app; however, you will need to enter your Apple ID and password to complete the installation.
