ENGINEER SOLUTIONS THAT SHAPE OUR TOMORROW
BUILD THE FOUNDATION FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE.
Widener helped me to gain a deeper appreciation for science, fall in love with the brain, and learn what it was like to work in a high-powered, fast-moving academic setting.

■ Earn your bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years instead of the typical six—saving you time and money—through the accelerated BS/MSE program . Widener offers master’s degrees in biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, and robotics engineering, along with a degree in engineering & technology management. You can also create a specialized course of study by pursuing a master’s in a different discipline, like data analytics or organizational leadership. You’ll still graduate in five years.
■ Realize your specific vision for the future by adding one of our 50+ minors to your undergraduate degree—including business, computer science, mathematics, physics, and many others.
■ Designed for top-performing students, the engineering honors program incorporates a wide range of experiences, from leadership training to research with faculty. Students graduate with a certificate of honors in engineering.

TAKE THE INSIDE TRACK TO A BREAKTHROUGH CAREER.
LAUNCH INTO A PAID CO-OP.
At Widener, you’ll prepare for your career by doing it. In our signature co-op program, students gain eight months of compensated work experience and still graduate in four years. You can add to your experience with a four-month internship, providing a full year of work before you graduate. The best part: Many students land full-time jobs with a co-op or internship employer after graduation.
ENGAGE IN LIFE-CHANGING RESEARCH.
You’ll partner with renowned faculty on research that has the potential to change and save lives, starting as soon as your first year. You may even present your findings at conferences or be published in a scientific journal—bolstering your resume and professional network along the way.
INNOVATE IN NEXT-LEVEL LEARNING SPACES.
As an engineering major, where you learn is as important as what you learn. That’s why we ensure our labs and facilities remain on the cutting edge. From high-end computer workstations to project rooms to teaching labs, you’ll master the tools and tech used by professionals in the field.

Widener’s network of industry connections and proximity to Philadelphia means you’ll have easy access to internships, co-ops, and research projects with top area companies. These experiences will help you land your first job—and kickstart a powerful career.

During my co-op, I got a lot of experience in several areas and helped different teams. I really branched out and worked on as many projects as I could. I think everyone would benefit from it.
