Dear players and parents,
Congratulations on an outstanding season and welcome to the USSSA Eastern National Championships. We appreciate you choosing to play USSSA and making Salisbury/Ocean City, Maryland, your final stop this season. We know that each of you have many choices when it comes to deciding where to participate in your post-season national tournament, so please know that you’ve paid us the ultimate compliment by choosing Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore as your destination this year.
Along with the local organizing committee, we have worked hard to ensure your stay on Delmarva is enjoyable. The tournament’s main venue, the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex, continues to undergo upgrades, and now has WiFi and two full service concession stands. All full-sized fields are outfitted with updated lighting, livestreaming capabilities and large covered dugouts. An inclusive playground was added to the park’s amenities in spring 2021. We’re sure you will find this first-class complex, along with the other quality facilities, to be an ideal setting for the tournament.
The area hotels are as excited as we are to be your home away from home during your stay, and we know you will find their accommodations to be friendly, clean and accessible.
There is much for your team to do in the area, including dining, entertainment and recreational attractions. We are pleased to provide discounted tickets to Jolly Roger and Chesapeake Ghost Tours at the Manager’s Meeting and Henry S. Parker.When planning things to do off the field, feel free to ask one of our staff for their insider knowledge.
Being here at this prestigious event is truly a testament to your talent, dedication and love for the sport. Every member of your team should be proud of themselves for the part they will play in the tournament. We can’t say whether you’ll take a trophy home this week, but we know that the memories that you will create will last a lifetime.

Dear USSSA participants and families,
Welcome to Maryland’s Eastern Shore! The MidAtlantic Amateur Sports Alliance, a partnership between the Town of Ocean City and Worcester and Wicomico Counties, is honored to host the 2024 USSSA Eastern National Championships. We wish you the best of luck as you compete and hope your stay is enjoyable.
When off the field, we invite you to experience the Ocean City region’s many attractions. Whether you want to relax, explore the area or do some shopping, our area offers many ways to unwind. Miles of sandy beachfront provide the perfect setting to relax, whether in Ocean City or amongst the wild horses of Assateague Island. Our beaches are the cleanest, most pristine, and accessible beaches on the East Coast.
If you’re up for exploring, the region has plenty of entertainment and cultural options to enjoy. A trip to the Ocean City region wouldn’t be complete without a stroll along the boardwalk, which offers shops, dining options, games and rides.
While in Salisbury, visit the free Salisbury Zoo and step back in time at Pemberton Historical Park and other historic sites. Get in touch with the outdoors and explore other parks and waterways, or go shopping at unique stores and boutiques.
For a glimpse of small-town America, visit Main Street in Berlin and see why the town earned the title of America’s Coolest Small Town. If shopping is on your mind, Outlets Ocean City offers a variety of stores. We want you to feel right at home during your stay, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable.
