2022-2023 is the Year of Go Green to WIA and its Branches. SANJU Women’s Welfarre Association tried their 'Green hand’ On Creating Innovative, save earth project on Micro Fruit Forest at 25 Places, round the year to celebrate their 25th year “- silver jubilee

Micro fruit Forest Created At Choleeswar temple, Draupadi Amman Temple, Nallathamman Temple

Perambakkam, about 50, 150 and 80 fruit trees respectively on 31.01.2022

"Micro fruit forests" project which was inaugurated on 18th Jan 2022 is a special project for the celebration of silver jubilee celebration of Sanju Women's Welfarre Assn .

On 18 th January, we planted 200 fruit tree saplings in Pinjivakkam village,150 fruit tree saplings in Neyveli village and 100 fruit tree saplings in the cemetery of St Francis de Sales Church in Tiruvallur as our 1st ,2nd,3rd micro fruit forests.

We planted indigenous fruit varieties like lemon, pomegranate,jamun,guava, custard apple, gooseberry, mango and walnut.These fruit forests will be helpful in making the lives of under previleged residents better.They will be nurtured by the village panchayats.The monitoring is assigned to our members who live near by and who volunteer.

12th February 2022, 7th,8th,9th ,10th fruit forests created at Thiruvadisoolam -155 trees,Manmukhi village,Mamandur-50 trees,TGS Ashram,Dindivanam-200 trees and Angala parameswari Amman Temple,Vikravandi-50 treesn 20th February 2022,50 fruit trees were planted at Agraharam,Tirunavalur,Villupuram Dt, as the 11 th micro fruit forest.

On 15th and 16th micro fruit forests with 800 and 300 fruit tree saplings in Alambadi village and Karungal village respectively on 19 th March 2022.

Our 17 th micro fruit forest is at Narayana Olimpyad School,Vana garam,18th Micro fruit forest is at Sri Jagathguru vedhakavya Vidhyabhavanam Trust,Guruvoyal village, Thamaraipakkam on 2nd April 2022

On 16th April 2022, Sanju Women's Welfarre Assn.created micro fruit forests at Manolayam Retirement Home, Sirukalathur, Chennai and Akshar Arbol International School,Injambakkam as 20th&21st micro fruit forests. Our 19th micro fruit forest is at Thiruvalluvar Farm at Poochalimedu, Thamaraipakkam on 2nd April 2022

Our 12 th,13th and 14th micro fruit forests were created at Sevalaya,Kasavu village,Anandham Old Age Home ,Melakondaiyur and Tonekala with 100 ,225 and 100 fruit trees respectively on 6th March 2022.

22nd micro fruit forest @Arumbavur Village, Perambalur district with 70 trees on 28th August 2023

On 18th September 2022, Sanju Women's Welfarre Assn.has created 2 micro fruit forests with175 fruit tree saplings at Kalakattur village and poonimangadu inTiruvallur district as its 23rd and 24th fruit forests respectively.

Sanju Women's Welfarre Assn.shares it's joy and pride for having created the 25 th Micro fruit forest in Faith Home Orphanage at Porur, Chennai on 26th November 2022 with indigenous varieties of 100 fruit tree saplings.The first project of our silver jubilee celebration has been completed successfully with the support from our parent organization WIA, members of SANJU, friends and well-wishers.
