Future of PEPCO/Exelon Merger Remains Murky

Clinton, Trump Score Big on Super Tuesday

But PSC Ruling Paves the Way for Acquisition By Stacy M. Brown WI Senior Writer The DC Public Service Commission has paved the way for local utility Pepco Holdings Inc. to be sold to Exelon Corporation. At an early morning hearing, the PSC first voted 2-1 to reject widely contested settlement terms that was agreed upon by Mayor Muriel Bowser. However, despite a principled dissent from Chairman Betty Ann Kane, Commissioners Joanne Doddy Fort and Willie Phillips then did an about face and voted to approve a modified version of the settlement that includes what opponents called marginal changes that failed to address the core problems which led the PSC to unanimously reject the

She defeated her opponent, Sanders, in states like Vermont and Oklahoma – places that he believed he could win, while also overpowering him in states with high percentages of Blacks and Hispanics.
