In April Al Massira Representa ves from around the world gathered in Ry ylä, Finland for a me of tes mony, prayer and strategic planning. Thirty-one na ons were represented as the community came together.
In addi on to regional feedback and strategic planning the gathering included a specific me for the Al Massira 2 Development team to meet together. This
team, drawn from seven very different na ons, has been developing the content for a series of discipleship materials that will aid the growth of church community among peoples coming to faith through the Al Massira Journey videos. There is much to be done to accomplish this work, however scripts are being wri en and a crea ve team has been designing graphic concepts that will be used to present the finished materials. Produc on will begin in 2025.
In November Al Massira Africa gathered in Kigali, Rwanda for a conference designed to strengthen the network of Al Massira users across the con nent.
The gathering included a training for new Senior Lead Trainers to facilitate Al Massira training courses (pictured right).
Their work is representa ve of the ministry which has equipped more than 20,000 to share their faith by encouraging friends and neighbours to take the journey with the Old Testament Prophets. As this takes place the Al Massira office receives frequent tes monial feedback such as this recent message from Asia:
I thank God for having the chance in my life watching the AM episodes. It truly changes my worldview and transforms my life because of its message. AM used an appropriate and understandable language in our context. Now I have believed in this God of the Book and also the Son I was just equipped to lead Al Massira groups a few months ago. Since then, we have led two families of our people to come to faith. Eleven family members of mine have come to faith through Al Massira.

Al Massira Training con nued to run training events both in person and online around the world during 2024.
Training is an important part of the outreach of Al Massira interna onally, as training provides prepara on and methodology for sharing the journey with the Prophets with inquirers. As an example, the image to the le shows one of the largest trainings ever conducted by Al Massira, in this case in West Africa in March, for around 200 par cipants.
Along with many others, they are now be er equipped to share the Gospel with friends and neighbours.
During 2024 nearly 1,500 new Al Massira resource users were trained through just over 100 training events. 2024 saw the first training take place in the na ons of Burundi, Colombia, Namibia and Zambia, bringing the total of na ons in which training has taken place to ninety-three.
Al Massira Transla on Department con nues to expand the availability of versions of the resources in mul ple languages. 2024 saw the launch of four new versions. Dari and Pashto for the peoples of Afghanistan were the fruit of projects begun with fundraising in 2021 and 2022.
Meanwhile, Amharic for Ethiopia, produced through a partnership with Mission to The World, was launched in November with training events in Addis Ababa. And in West Africa, a Bambara version was produced for the na on of Mali.
During 2024 the Al Massira team also honoured long- me Transla on Director, M W as he prepared to re re, and welcomed J E to serve as his replacement. He joins Al Massira with more than twenty-five years of experience with Bible transla on and transla on projects management in East Africa.
In 2025 the department will be working on versions in Yoruba and Kanuri for West Africa, Kyrgyz and Azeri for Central Asia, and Kabyle for North Africa. Several other African languages are also in the early stages of development along with an Indian sub tled version in the Hindi script.

The Ministry of Prayer has always been an important part of the work of Al Massira. Each week staff members meet to thank the Lord for His work in the na ons and to pray over specific opportunies. Prayer coordinators in the Al Massira regions also mobilize prayer from within those regions.

The Al Massira Journey App was launched in 2022 and now has 29 language versions of the videos together with resources in 21 lanuages uploaded. Trained users can access the App to set up and run groups with their friends. Mr. A’s wife has a machine with which she grinds grain for women from a nomadic tribe living around them. One day two of these women came with their grain and asked if they could recharge their phones while the grain was being ground. As they entered the house, the Story of Moses was playing. They saw the blood from the lamb that was slaughtered, and they asked about sacrifice in Chris anity. Mr. A explained star ng with the problem of sin in the garden up to the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. Right there those women accepted Jesus as their Saviour.
