For the kids that grew up too fast, the kids that never grew up, and all the kids in between.
Rose Coloured Glasses explores the universal however deeply personal journey of coming of age. It seeks to capture the delicate balance between youthful naivety and the newfound independence that defines this stage of life. Through a series of photographs that encompass self expression, coming into your own skin, and childhood wonder, the project reflects on the mix of uncertainty and possibility that comes with stepping into adulthood and discovering your own self. At its core, the project frames vulnerability as something to revel in, it celebrates it as a state of openness and curiosity. It is about chasing freedom, embracing imperfection, and finding identity in the in between spaces of life.
By weaving together themes of intimacy, exploration, and emotional honesty, the project invites viewers to reflect on their own formative years, encouraging them to reconnect with the restless spirit and boundless possibility of youth. While, the project is a nostalgic glance backward, it is also an ode to the ongoing process of self discovery. It asks us to consider whether coming of age is ever complete or whether it is a perpetual state of becoming.

softness is something we learn the hard way
growing up is tough vulnerability is sacred we wear masks to hide who we are but sometimes the mask shows more than we intend.
