CONCEPT STATEMENT The slice capsule collection is influenced by by consumerism and butchery. The slice capsule collection garments are positioned in the high end, ready to wearmarket of the fashion industry. The target market is between 20-70. It designed for the girl that is bold, dynamic and decisive. The slice shacket utilises primary colours through the effect of the luxurious red twill taffeta and contrasting deep blue denims. The loose luxuries aspect is demonstrated in the zipper details for weather changes, knee length silhoutte, sleeve details and sprouting pockets. It is perfect for special occasions, autumn and winter. The luxury aspect of denim is expressed my slice scarf, incorporating bold primary colours with complimentary whites. Denims durability allows for the scarf to be perfect for the cold season, with a hidden pocket. The Jackson Pollok treatment applied to the denims is popular among brands such as Maison Margiela and Sterling Ruby. The primary colours of red and blue are portrayed in the butcher bag, which has bleached denim treatments. It benefits from the fish hook and eye detail. The unique selling points of these pieces are the up-cycling aspect, one of kind and versatility. Benefits of the slice shacket are front placket, buttons, two front pockets, petite shoulder pockets and four 60 cm zippers allow for cooling, heating and protection. A luxurious aspect is the subtle incorporation of two denims and teffeta.The features are the front placket, bold front pockets and four zippers. The sliced salvage pants have benefit inseam pockets and hook and eye. It’s features are the dupian silk salvage on display. The use of red and blues, are shown in Maison Margiela, Ferrari and Raf Simons. Marine Sierra, Y/ProjectSterling Ruby and McQueen show loose denim silhouttes in collections.
