Site Location / Site Analaysis
The Brief The client is a 30 year old couple and a twin children attending elementary school. They want their children to be able to live with them till young-adult. They also have 3years old French bulldog that are highly active, spoiled and allowed throughout the house. The family is engaged in an urban lifestyle, are interested in home entertainment, and enjoy a variety of sports and creative interests. Due to their children are getting older, parents are eager to live in a house than an apartment. The family also collected some personal furniture and artwork, hoping to design them in this space. These works represent their interest and personalities. House design needs to propose innovative ways to deal with light (natural and man-made), spatial planning. This allows families to change their practices and methods as their needs change and their indoor and outdoor relationships change. In addition, design response must consider the owner’s commitment to sustainable design.
