This concept explores an atmospheric colour story that intertwines fashion, beauty, food, and interiors into one surreal and immersive narrative. It tells a story of eclectic whimsy, where the familiar is made strange through surrealist details and vintage, tactile elements. These motifs act as markers of memory and time grounding the experience, whilst inviting the viewer into a dreamlike space.

SIAN KENDALL FOR OBSCURA
Sian Kendall is an emerging photographer and stylist based in Sydney establishing her skills at Whitehouse Institute of Design. Her work spans across styling projects that include fashion, interiors, beauty and illustration, carefully curating a portfolio driven by a deep love for colour, anomaly and texture. Taking inspiration from serenity in natural environments, she strives to craft compositions that feel curated and meditative. As she continues to refine her technical and conceptual skills, Sian evokes quiet introspection to create beautiful and surreal images filled with soft harmonious lighting and complementary colour palettes.
