Aesthetic
India Mahdavi is an Iranian-French architect and designer whoose work spans large hospitality projects, luxury collaborations, and her own furniture line. SHe opened her studio in 2000 and develops her creations through visions of form and colour. Known for her eclectic and nomadic nature, her work continues to celebrate and oriental pop in the West. Her use of colour and form will be used to inspire the patterns within this project. “To concieve a space, I listen to it, I analyse its constraints, its needs and its context. This is how my studio functions; the human scale prevails. I often compare places to faces. I like providing a solution in order to define, with the client, how to work with all the energy that the space inspires.”

Sergey Makhno is a Ukrainian designer, founder, and director of Sergey Makhno Architects. Sergey creates collections of unique objects and designs buildings with interior spaces for apartments, restaurants, offices, and boutiques with his personally designed furniture and décor elements. His practice is known for contemporary minimalism, eclecticism, and loft styles. With his interest in Japanese culture, his designs and art display a fusion of Ukrainian and Japanese styles. The natural textural qualities of his design will influence the wabi sabi atmosphere of the project which will help to confirm its connection to the surrounding landscape. “I am surrounded by beautiful and creative people. “Connectedness to nature and wellbeing”

“Creating functional and purposeful spaces”
The ebbs and flow of the river, inhale and exhale motions, the circadian rhythms of sleep, the gentle but steady passing of time. Biophilic patterns in nature remind us of our connections to the landscape. Authentic innovation must acknowledge the foundational evolution of craftsmanship and reveals a sense of time and place. Our human sensory experiences define our lives and developing functional spaces with purpose is key to a full experience. These aspects reveal the Rhythms of the Hunter and the patterns within our daily lives which are one and the same.
