CONCEPT STATEMENT The ocean is so big and wide filled with colourful creatures and life. The beautiful soft textures of the fish tails and coral swaying so effortlessly in the water brings a sense of gentleness and warmth. Women tend to be the same. Women are colourful and bold and so soft. The hero body displays inspiration from the sea. The coral is home and security for the animals just like women are for the world. The strips are make of silk which is soft and femine like. It was important to use soft fabrics for this represtentation. The skirt has a waitstand which was important as feminity is the waist, the A-line silhouette gives glamour and shape to the body. The back of the bodice is open back to give a slight sexy feel to the dress. Taking inspiration from the sexy Versace look, That was important. Idealy this dress would be worn on a cruise, for a girl who enjoys luxurious parties, is elegant in dress, and is bold in her mindset. She would most likely be a social media influncer who gives advice on fashion and styling.
