Old Gold is an homage to the past, a collection inspired by the comfort and familiarity of memory. This collection embraces the soft echoes that live inside the clothes that we have loved, borrowed, shared and outgrown. A coat passed between siblings feels that like home, or the matching dresses that sisters are forced to wear by their mothers. Fashion is a tactile diary of our lives, fabric worn and rewoven into our memories. The bespoke brass embellishments, golden shapes that scatter across the hero coat like weathered relics, reflect the way memories connect us to fashion and design.
At its heart lies connection and sisterhood, expressed through the harmony between looks. The two matching coats in the signature ‘hands full’ print and the warm, earthen brown wool. Their symmetry is intentional, and yet their personalities are unique. Reminiscent of times where sisters have locked eyes at family functions only to realise, they are wearing the same jeans and similar tops, arguments over which one must go and get changed, and the aggressive yelling that ensues when a piece of clothing that you lost months ago randomly appears on your sister’s back. Having a sister will change not only you but your wardrobe, simultaneously doubling and halving it.
The menswear coat acts as the collections counterbalance. It’s deliberate fraying seams form starburst lines that unravel and grow, wrapping around the body. This texture speaks directly to the metallic patina blooming across the hero coat. Together, the fray and patina reflect the dichotomy between erosion and endurance. Time marks us, beautifully and without permission.
Old gold honours the past, not as something lost, but as something lovingly carried forward. It celebrates the garments that weather with us, the bonds that they reflect, and the beauty found in the passage of time.

Brass by Kate Hunter Designs:
the brass embelishments were born from a long, intuitive collaboration with jewllery smith Kate Hunter. Together we experiemented with form, eright and finish, searching for a metal language that felt ancient and intimate. Each golden shape was refined through countless trials, hammered, cast and patinated until they carried the quiet irregularity of something unearth rather than manufactured. each piece is completely its own, surface texture and patina taking its own form on each piece. the result is a series of bespoke relics that cling to the coat like fragments of remembered moments, their presence a testament to craft, connection and the shared pursuit of the right solution.
