H3rizon is a three member girl group from Sydney, Australia. The group consists of the members Bernadette Marquez, Gabriella Montalbo & Taylah Jade. H3rizon is a vocal harmony group with style of rnb, classical ballads and edm music they perform and create. They post covers of songs that are from old school to new school with any genre where they add there own twist of their three part harmonies. Each member has their own flair and style in regards to music, where as they combines each elements of their musical experiences to create something new.
Each member has their own personal experiences when they first had a passion for music. The girls are often called by their nicknames such as Bernie is short for Bernadette’ Gabby short for Gabrielle and Taya for Taylah.

As they first started out as solo artist, for Benie she was born into a family of singers. She is from the Philippines. By the age of 8 she started singing lessons and her passion for music grew. In high school she was in an acapella group called the ‘Newtones’ and that’s where the idea of group singing sparked.

With Gabby, she is also from the Philippines, and Filipinos are well known for the love of music. Gabby was a shy person at first however she then grew into music. As she grew passionately, she started doing competitions.

H3rizon started as a group after the girls gain passion and expereinces as solo artist since they were young, they all met through gigs and mutuals and that’s how the group started. With schedules and being in a three member group, it is sometimes difficult to come together for rehearsals and practice. However even when they are all individually busy with uni and work, they manage to find a day where they can come together and create beautiful harmonies for their fanbase. They are always with their content on social media, especially on Tik Tok now that they have 200k followers and on their Instagram with almost 8k followers. The artists who they idolise are Destiny’s Child; the sister duo Chloe x Halle; Tori Kelly and many more in the genres of rnb, pop, power ballads and music productions such as Jacob Collier.
With their style of music, they describe it to be authentic and unique as they fuse each elements from each other to create their sound. From each person the bring in a mix of production, vocoder, rnb and classical elements. For their creative process they work either at home or ni the studio working on harmonies and melodies by themselves. They also get help from their produce and manager for a few touch ups. Their creative process is quick as their are 3 of them, where are more ideas coming into play. For instance, with ‘Songbird’ it was prodcued in only 2 days. Going into the music industry as a group has it’s detours as their are a lot of competitors in the industry. They want to be able to promote themselves as well as other artists and groups to be more open minded and being yourself. They want people to be firm andknow who you are, as “knowing who you are is the most vital thing before going into the industry.
