Taking inspiration from the ocean, it is inevitable that this collection respects that environment and helps to advocate for a better future. The Aquatics is a collection created using 100% sustainable fabrics including natural and ethically sourced fabrics, deadstock, and upcycling un-used products. All fabrics and fabrications that are not used will be taken to a fabric recycling facility that will give these scraps a new life. (This being Upparel)
As a designer, it is important to take responsibility for our actions and carbon footprint within the industry and act ethically, which is why this collection has been created with sustainability at the fore front of the design process. Borrowing the colours of sand, the ocean and it’s waves and sharing it within the collection
