Francesca Maiurana Francesca Maiurana, aspiring Creative Director and Stylist. For as long as she can remember, she has always had a creative touch. While being inspired by the simplicity of her hometown Blacktown, Sydney, she branched out to hone her passion pursuing a Bachelor of Design at Whitehouse Institute of Design. She flourishes in collage, the art of composition. Her visual communication style often revolves around layering texture and imagery, along with the sentiment of handmade work. She is passionate about the peculiarity of creativity and often takes inspiration from everyone she meets and the world around her. She focuses on a simplistic achromatic colour scheme often with a contrast colour. In every final project, she includes a personal touch, making them a true reflection of herself as an individual and a designer. These characteristics will be further highlighted and revealed through the proposed narrative ‘Head In The Grass’, encompassing hyper realistic photography brought to life with collage. It aims to reveal a sense of home and resorting back to the simple aspects of finding inspiration, showcasing how every ideation process often derives from what is attainable in our own backyard. In essence, it is all about reflecting, getting in touch with yourself, creativity and embracing adventitious ideas.
