Georgia Bell, the Image Maker behind this editorial, trained as a special effects makeup artist in London before moving to Melbourne to pursue a career in fashion. She is currently in her final year at Whitehouse Institute of Design, where she has excelled in digital design and won the learning award in her Third Trimester. Bell’s work resonates with viewers as she aims to capture a sense of satire and playfulness in her imagery with her vibrant colour palette and
mixed media. Her work is inspired by travel and film and hopes to begin again in 2021 following her graduation. Taking her visual response inspiration from art movements such as dadaism, her environment and cinema, these elements have worked to build a narrative. Bell creates a high fashion editorial, decontextualized, then reconstructs each photograph into the final images you see in this dossier.
