‘Jester’ brings bizarreness into fashion with recurring theme drawn from clowns. Seen throughout history in leopard skin, strange masks and short tunics, clown garments have been oversized and frumpish looks regardless of time. By adapting these ideas, this collection has come to life, exclusively sold at Totokaelo.

With the aim to portray loose luxury with denim and other fabrication, the design focuses on balance, repetition, primary colours and abnormal. These have been achieved by elements like strong silhouettes, shapes and forms seen with different types of clowns and their outfits. Another heavy influence on the shacket piece are tufted buttons seen on chesterfield couches, The ready-to-wear design capsule was completes in September 2021, and is a women’s wear design collection focused on the trend forecasts of 2021/2022. It takes into consideration the ease of wearing garments and at the same time look luxe, bold and up with trends. The blue hues are meant to represent a gloomy clown, white paints representing whiteface clowns painting their face in greasepaint.
