The Vermilion girl is a modern day femme fatale with a flare for the dramatic.This collection captures the confidence and power from within, and projects it for the world to see. The concept has been brought to life through the design and production of our hero pants, elegant blouse, statement bra and fierce vest. This four-piece collection was inspired by vampiric femme fatales, nightlife and maraschino cherries; with a strong influence from public personas of Lana del Rey and Angelina Jolie. Vermilion is a term used to group tints and shades of brilliant reds, which is the essense of this collection and that of particular eras of del Rey and Jolie, and is often regarded to as the colour of life and eternity. Our Vermilion girl is likely highly influenced by these celebrities and may be well embedded within the fashion community, such as in an editor role in a lifestyle or fashion magazine. She exudes power and sex appeal, and would likely wear this collection as an off-duty look in New York. This collection can be worn in many different ways, due to the amount of garments and convertible nature of the hero pants, allowing our girl to transform from night to day with one fierce outfit.
