HERITAGE MEETS WITH INNOVATION
To make their time-consuming product produced at a much quicker rate by printing their handmade works with sustainable fabrics. The first design for my fashion collection was inspired by an African home decoration made of wool. I turned it into a print that will be used on a dress to see new innovative ways with their beautiful time-consuming pieces that can be used without limitation. Introduce more African designs into the Western culture to unite both cultures. I want my garments being worn by all cultures, no matter what their ethnic group is. My intentions as a designer are to create garments that give women confidence and a sense of individuality, focusing on vibrant colours, tex tures, prints, and volume. This collection is tailored for people who like versatility and like to buy one valuable item that they can keep for a long time and pass it on rather than buying multiple. These garments can be worn as an evening dress and a casual outfit; that’s why I have designed this versatility where you can make it and wear it on a typical day out by removing the sleeves and flounce at the bottom of the dress, completely changing the style. Target market Women aged 20-60 who have a disposable income and are business-oriented. This group can purchase things with a purpose in mind and would therefore lean towards choosing businesses that want to make a positive difference.
