WET AREA EXPERIENCE Ancient Healing Mineral Pool and Whirlpool: Relieve pain & stress through immersion in essential minerals. Restore your well-being in the ‘Ancient Healing Mineral Pool’. Heated waters containing 83 trace minerals help boost circulation, reduce symptoms of depression & anxiety, revive youthful skin & help treat inflammation in swollen joints & sore, fatigued muscle. *Please remember to rinse off in one of our conveniently located showers PRIOR to entering the pool or whirlpool.

CELLUMA EXPERIENCE Enjoy this relaxing 90 minute service that includes a 45 minute session in our Himalayan Salt Cave Sanctuary and a session in our LED Light Lounge. Once inside, you will receive a Celluma Treatment that focuses on either Acne or Aging. This experience is also recommended for groups who want to relax and enjoy time together.

CELLUMA TREATMENT Experience the benefits of LED Light Therapy while you relax in our LED Light Lounge. An Advanced Practice Esthetician will discuss your skin concerns and choose what light modality best suits you. Skin is prepped, eyes are covered, and a Celluma Pro Panel is gently placed around your head. While under the panel you are invited to settle your mind as your skin absorbs the healing wavelengths of light therapy. When finished, you will notice an immediate glow and increased circulation. Results are cumulative so we recommend two to three treatments per week for skin correction. *Not recommended for claustrophobic or light sensitive clients.

he process of making and consuming wine has been intertwined with humans since the dawn of recorded history. The history of the winemaking industry in this extreme northern climate is much more recent, beginning in the early 1970s. Now the region is home to several vineyards easily within day-trip range, including the Dancing Dragonfly Winery featured in this issue of SaVour. The winery received the Cold Climate Vineyard of the Year Award in 2019. Practical concerns are not forgotten and along with the summer fun, this issue also features articles on eye care, home improvement and caring for our pets. Wishing you an enjoyable and event filled summer season.

ST. CROIX VALLEY’S ASSOCIATED EYE CARE IS COMMITTED TO VISION FOR A LIFETIME by Renee McGivern Contributing Writer

egardless of where you or your family members are on the spectrum of life, from newborns to veterans, Associated Eye Care is committed to providing patients with the very best care now and in the future. As their patient, you will feel welcome and in very competent hands. Associated Eye Care is a hometown practice that started in Stillwater 49 years ago and expanded to serve residents in the St. Croix Valley region. Today, there also are clinics in Hugo, Woodbury, Hudson, New Richmond, Amery and Baldwin. “Our goal is to approach each patient with a warm and caring manner to give everyone the best experience possible,”

said Dr. Gary Schwartz. “And we specialize in all aspects of vision care, from routine preventative exams to the most intricate surgical procedures.” Have a child in your life who needs special eye care? Associated Eye Care is the largest provider of pediatric eye care in Minnesota; it serves more children than the Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota. “We have three pediatric specialists who have devoted their careers to children,” said Dr. Schwartz. “They understand how vision problems can affect a child’s ability to run, play and read.” Associated Eye Care also offers an advanced surgery center with equipment that is continually upgraded to ensure

patients experience consistent and successful outcomes. For five decades, the doctors and staff at Associated Eye Care have impacted the sight and lives of thousands of people who say great things about this practice, such as “Great professional service. Modern state-of-the-art equipment. Friendly staff.” “Over 30 years as a patient. Would not go anywhere else!” “They listen. They make great suggestions. They understand my concerns.” Learn more at associatedeyecare.com to schedule or request an appointment online. Phone 651.314.EYES
