Freewheeling demonstration

The “More Than Pink” program through Centennial Community Education is about to wrap up another successful summer of preparing girls for a 5K and empowering their self-worth. For the past seven weeks 39 fifth and sixth grade girls have met at Centennial High School for two hours every Tuesday and Thursday morning. For one half of the day they exercise through means like dance, soccer, bicycling, relay games and track. For the other half, they learn about various life lessons through simulations, discussions and presentations.
