The people have voted The 2020 Readers’ Choice Best of the Press is a first for us. We were amazed at the community’s engagement when we put the word out for our readers to nominate their favorites for eating and drinking, health and fitness, arts and entertainment, sports and recreation, shopping and other local services. We had more than 1,000 nominations. When we finalized the list, we asked for your votes on the Best of the Press, and more than 20,000 of you weighted in!

Carter Johnson, What I love about this is we are using a Publisher vendor that has catered to newspapers across the country. Through their experience, they have figured out the little quirks and tricks people try to use to manipulate these contests. We are pleased to be partnering with them to produce the results the readers have come to trust with our papers. In a few weeks, we will be releasing the Best of the Press to you in a special layout and format. We are thankful to have such strong community participation.
