he River Forecast Centre’s second-last snow survey and water supply bulletin of the season is ringing alarm bells for hydrologists. The report shows the South Coast is sitting at 14% of average snowpack for this time of year. Provincially, two-thirds of the snowpack has melted, when June usually sees about 55% melt. “We haven’t had as low as we had here since about a decade ago,” said David Campbell, head of the River Forecast Centre. “We had a fairly warm winter, and that really led to a lot of melt during the sort of winter season, so we came
