We’re big fans of Amara at the Four Seasons Fairways in Quinta do Lago. While the resort has just finished a €10m refurbishment, it means Amara gets a new outdoor terrace, which is great news for those who enjoy fine dining al fresco! PLAY Football Camps

Fancy practising your footie skills with the pros? Quinta do Lago’s Campus Football Escapes are back. From 3rd - 7th April with Gareth Barry, 29th May - 2nd June and 14th - 18th August with Joe Cole and 21st25th August with Joleon Lescott. The ultimate football training experience for young fans aged 5 to 15 years old. Kids get a week’s worth of coaching on the worldclass football pitch at The Campus, as well as a full kit and a medal upon completion of the course!

DRINK Rooftop Sundowners

Spring is in the air so it must mean it’s time for rooftop sundowners at Oliwander’s again! This little gem in Loule opened in 2021 and has become a local favourite. Great views, mean margaritas and a warm welcome make it just the place to catch the sunset. Harry Potter fans will also like the references to the JK Rowling series. And, you can even stay for dinner eating around a tree… You’ll see.
