FREE SENIOR SWIM

Every Saturday in July from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. Seniors 50 years and older can swim laps, simply splash, or exercise in the water under the supervision of a certified lifeguard.

36th Street and Garden Park Pools Only

POOL PARTIES

All four pools are available to rent between 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. All pool rules & regulations must be followed. Please note no alcohol or animals are permitted.

$120 rental fee which includes two certified lifeguards on duty

BRIDGE PARK POOL – June 17 - June 28

GRANDVIEW POOL- July 8 - July 19

Classes offered for beginner to advanced swimming levels. The cost for each two-week session is $10.

Swim test day will be on the first day (June 17 and July 8)

After the swim test, participants will be placed in either the 9am or 10am class.

Pre-school classes will also be offered for children ages 3 - 5 years. A parent or guardian must accompany the child into the water. 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Pre-school class does not need to attend test day!

Pitching Clinic SOFTBALL

Individual instruction will be given and geared to the players’ abilities. Class size is limited to provide maximum instruction. Balls will be provided but each player must bring their own glove and a catcher!

PIZZA & PEPPERONI ROLL ClASS

Participants will learn the basics of stretching homemade dough, making pesto using local herbs, and chopping skills for toppings from local farms. At the end of class, children will bake their pizza for lunch and be able to take home leftover pizza and pepperoni rolls.

HOMEMADE ICE CREAM & SUNDAE CLASS

Participants will learn how to make ice cream from scratch! This is an ice cream recipe containing dairy. We'll learn how to measure ingredients and use a few different types of ice cream machines to make the final product. Everyone will be able to then help themselves to some ice cream with a variety of toppings to make sundaes including fresh local fruit and fresh whipped cream.

SNack time!

Participants will learn how to make easy snacks that kids can make at home without using the oven or stovetop. We’ll be making pinwheel wraps, no-bake cookies (containing peanut butter), antipasto skewers, and fruit skewers.

Participants will learn how to cut vegetables, read a recipe, and use basic kitchen tools. We’ll be making pinwheel wraps, no-bake cookies (containing peanut butter) and baked oven “fries”.
