TEEN SKI TRIPS Registration Deadlines: Wilmot Mountain 1/31 • Alpine Valley 2/13 Grab your friends and spend your days off on the slopes! Pack in a full day of skiing or snowboarding at Wilmot Mountain in Wilmot, Wisconsin, and Alpine Valley in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. These trips include transportation, equipment rental and lift-ticket. Bus leaves from and returns to the Wheeling Park District Community Recreation Center (CRC). Fee does not include lunch; please bring money to purchase food.

SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER PART Y (TEEN PART Y ) You’re invited to attend this exclusive end-of-the-school-year pool party. The Family Aquatic Center is reserved just for middle-schoolers; no parents are allowed. The event features music, giveaways, raffle and fun! School ID or proof of school is required for admission. SPORTS & A THLETICS RECREATIONAL FUTSAL LEAGUE Registration Deadline: 1/20 $20 late fee applies after the registration deadline. Location: CRC, Mark Twain and Tarkington schools Everyone plays and everyone is welcome to participate in this affordable, community-supported, indoor league. This is your opportunity to play soccer. Talk to your mom and/or dad about being a VOLUNTEER COACH. THIS LEAGUE CANNOT RUN WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS. EACH TEAM IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A VOLUNTEER COACH. Parents can sign up when you register or go to www.wheelingparkdistrict.com/volunteer. Volunteer Coaches receive a full refund of their child’s registration fee at the conclusion of the season. RECREATIONAL SOCCER LEAGUE Registration Deadline: 3/23 $20 late fee applies after the registration deadline. Dates: 4/6–6/8 Take your game outside in this affordable, community-supported, outdoor league. It’s all about giving you a chance to play! Enjoy the game of soccer while learning about teamwork and good sportsmanship. Select the nights of practice, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, and play games on Saturdays. Everyone is welcome to participate. HOWEVER, THIS LEAGUE CANNOT RUN WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS. EACH TEAM IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A VOLUNTEER COACH. TRAVEL SOCCER Wheeling Soccer Academy U8–U18 Ready to play at a higher level? The Wheeling Soccer Academy travel program has joined the Illinois Premier Alliance. This organization seeks to support the community travel club in providing more value to its members while helping the community club succeed in the current travel soccer environment. Players from our member clubs supplement their participation in their current club with the possibility of playing on a second team with talented players against some of the most talented teams in the Midwest and in the country, all while receiving excellent coaching.

TRAVELIN’ TEEN CAMP Location: CRC Grades: 6-9 (Must be entering these grades in Fall 2019.) Looking for a new and challenging way to spend your summer? Explore the big city and find hidden gems around town. Visit museums, ballparks, arcades, and more! Field trips are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with some volunteer opportunities. On Tuesday and Thurday, campers spend the day at the Family Aquatic Center. Ten one-week sessions are offered Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm, June 3-August 9 (No Camp 7/4.) Sign up for as many sessions as you like. District 21 students receive resident rates. The resident fee for each session is $193, due to Fourth of July holiday, session 5 fee is $155. COUNSELOR IN TRAINING Location: CRC Grades: 6-9 (Must be entering these grades in Fall 2019.) Interested in becoming a camp counselor one day? This unique leadership opportunity is designed to show you how counselors work with campers. You’ll assist counselors in supervising campers, preparing supplies, and leading games, and, most important of all, gain leadership skills. CITs are assigned to camps with younger kids based on their particular interests and camp enrollment. Ten one-week sessions are offered Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm, June 3-August 9 (No Camp 7/4.) Sign up for as many sessions as you like. District 21 students receive resident rates. The resident fee for each session is $85, due to Fourth of July holiday, session 5 fee is $68.
