Explore and learn about the many different health and wellness resources available in your community. Bought to you by the combined efforts of local businesses and organizations, this event will have something for the whole family.

THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY FEAST

Location: Chevy Chase Country Club

Registration Deadline: 11/12

The Wheeling Park District Board of Commissioners would like to invite residents and their families to a free feast at Chevy Chase Country Club. The event features a traditional Thanksgiving style meal and crafts for the little ones. The event is free, but canned food and cash donations are accepted. Donations go to the Wheeling Food Pantry and the Wheeling Park District Financial Assistance Program.

BEGINNER PICKLEBALL LESSONS

Location: CRC

Commit to learning the game of Pickleball with other beginners for 5 weeks. Players will learn the basics of pickleball including stroke mechanics, how to serve, volley, dink, hit a 3rd drop shot, drive, score, and more in drill and game-based scenarios. By the end of the session, players will know the proper pickleball etiquette, strategy of the game, and have the confidence to participate in drop-in pickleball programs. Pickleball paddles will be provided. Limited spots are available! Sign up now! Must commit to the entire session. No Class 11/22.

ADVANCED BEGINNER PICKLEBALL LESSONS

Location: CRC

This class is for advancing beginners who have some experience and want to continue to improve their pickleball game. Players will participate in drills to work on consistency in forehand and backhand shots, serving, volleying, dinks, and lobs. Players will learn strategy and ball placement and work on a softer game which will help take their game to the next level by learning how to play smarter, not harder. All equipment will be provided. No Class 11/22.
